Anne Maftei
Anne oversees, manages and delivers a global portfolio of innovative gender and business projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards. Specifically, she works with development finance institutions, investors and financial service providers to apply a gender lens to their investment and decision-making processes. She brings to her work a background in financial inclusion, with a specific focus on rural livelihoods and agricultural finance, as well as extensive experience working with organizations to build agile organizational learning systems.
Previously, she was the Learning Manager for the Mastercard Foundation Rural and Agricultural Finance Learning Lab, where she designed and oversaw the learning activities of a $180-million-plus portfolio of agricultural finance development interventions and contributed to sector-shaping research. Before that, she was at One Acre Fund.
Anne holds a master’s degree in International Security from Sciences-Po, Paris.
