Asya Troychansky
Asya oversees Value for Women’s global portfolio of projects, providing technical leadership and oversight of advisory engagements and deliverables. Asya further leads the growth of gender-inclusive investment and business practice - through advisory, long-term initiatives, strategic partnerships and the design of new products and services to reach new audiences and markets. As Associate Director, Asya also supports the organization in growing its talent and skills base, delivering advisory, training, research, and tools development, and other activities. She helps shape organisational thought leadership, learning and impact measurement for initiatives and projects focused on inclusive investment and business practice.
Asya brings about 15 years of global experience to Value for Women. She is a seasoned expert in gender, metrics and impact investing. Before joining Value for Women she spent several years working in agriculture investments as part of Root Capital’s strategy and impact team, and directing the non-profit organization’s Women in Agriculture Initiative. Before that Asya oversaw evaluations for Innovations for Poverty Action and collaborated with Mexico’s Ministry of Social and Economic Development and the Millennium Challenge Corporation. She holds degrees from both Princeton University and Harvard.
