Catarina Morais
Catarina joined Value for Women after spending 2.5 years working as a Development Manager at Solar Sister. During her time at Solar Sister, Cat developed and managed a pipeline of $7.5M in grant funding to drive Solar Sister's mission of empowering women through clean energy entrepreneurship. Prior to this, Cat worked as a Partnerships Manager for the off-grid solar provider Bboxx to drive B2B sales and spent two years as an Insights & Advocacy Manager at the GSMA Mobile for Development Foundation, an organisation that acts as a catalyst for the growth of the digital sector in low and middle-income countries.
Cat holds a BSc (Hons) in International Business Management from the University of Surrey, UK, including a semester abroad at the University of Queensland, Australia, and a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development MSc from the University of Surrey.
