Value for Women Appoints New Board Members to Drive Gender Equality and Social Inclusion
Leading Philanthropy and Gender Equality Experts Join Accomplished Board of Directors
London, April 2, 2024 – Value for Women (VfW) is delighted to announce the appointment of two distinguished global leaders to its Board of Directors: Mr. Nicholas Colloff and Ms. Jackie Jones. They join a diverse mix of global industry leaders that will guide VfW to ‘make gender and social inclusion everyone’s business’ and improve outcomes and opportunities for 10 million women over the next decade. They join long-serving Board Members Alexa Segal, Ngwing Kimani, Katia Dumont, Rebecca Fries, and Richard Gomes to further enhance Value for Women’s business and market-building capabilities across borders.
Mr. Colloff brings over two decades of experience as a senior philanthropy practitioner, social entrepreneur, and leader in driving systemic change in complex environments. He currently serves as the Executive Director at the Argidius Foundation, which supports enterprise development in Africa and Latin America. He has extensive experience bringing multidisciplinary lenses to entrepreneurship, finance, mental health and penal institutions.
Ms. Jones comes equipped with a wealth of global experience in philanthropy and management consulting, with particular expertise in growth strategy, organisational effectiveness, and social impact innovations. She is currently the Director & Chief of Staff for the Gender Equality Division at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she leads efforts in gender integration, women in leadership investments, and strategy functions. She has worked in 20 countries across the globe and lived in Sri Lanka, Ghana, Tanzania, and Hong Kong.
